2024 Camp Staff Training Dates
Lifeguards: June 17-21
All Staff: June 24-28
Summer Sessions
July 1st – August 8th
Camp Able Staff Application
Camp Able hires staff each summer. Hiring and interview process typically occurs between March-June. All staff members must be fingerprinted.
Staff members are expected to be available during all camp dates.
Positions include:
Aquatic Specialists/Lifeguards ($18.50/hour): Responsible for: supervising and participating in all aquatic activities; sailing; canoeing; assisting counselors in the supervision of campers and volunteers; implementation of aquatic activities; participation in staff training; maintenance of equipment. Must have current Lifeguard training, CPR, and First-aid certifications.
Counselors with current CPR and First Aid ($17.50/hour): Responsible for supervision of campers and volunteers; implementation of camp activities and safety procedures; participation in staff training; coordination with participating agency staff and parents; maintenance of equipment. Must have current CPR and First Aid certifications.
