Camp staff training dates: July 1st -July 3rd
Summer Season: July 8th-August 2nd
Camp Able hires staff each summer. Hiring and interview process typically occurs between March-June. All staff members must be fingerprinted.
Staff members are expected to be available during all camp dates.
Aquatic Specialists/Lifeguards: Responsible for: supervising and participating in all aquatic activities; sailing; canoeing; assisting counselors in the supervision of campers and volunteers; implementation of aquatic activities; participation in staff training; maintenance of equipment. Must have current Lifeguard training, CPR, and First-aid certifications.
Counselors with current CPR and First Aid: Responsible for supervision of campers and volunteers; implementation of camp activities and safety procedures; participation in staff training; coordination with participating agency staff and parents; maintenance of equipment. Must have current CPR and First Aid certifications.
